U.S. Bank and Elavon are looking to build a strong devops/devsecops culture and transform the culture in the fintech sector by automating everything and driving a culture of trust while empowering development teams.
Requirements
- Extensive experience with the public cloud preferably Amazon Web Services
- Expert in automation using scripting tools/languages
- Extensive knowledge implementing infrastructure as code using Terraform
- Use of devops tooling (Jenkins, source control, etc)
- Implementation of monitoring and logging tools (App Dynamics, DataDog, Cloudwatch, ELK)
- Experience operating applications with zero downtime and 100% availability
- Know what it takes to embed security into everything we do (familiarity with security tooling available in the market a plus)
Responsibilities
- Integrating application code into our build pipeline while at the same time improving the pipeline and processes around it
- Solving technical problems that each application has whether it be deployment, management, operations or monitoring
- Making sure feedback mechanisms are in place that give everyone in the value stream information they can use to improve our products at every step
- Work with our security and operations teams to make sure our products are secure from the beginning and implement processes and technology that let us prove it
- Help us take advantage of the public cloud for flexibility, efficiency and scalability.
- Learning the business domain of Elavon and U.S. Bank and the requirements necessary to help the team create forward-thinking solutions for our customers
- Interacting with a variety of team members and other colleagues throughout the organization.

- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Five to six years of relevant experience
- Ability to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and related workplace conduct and safety policies
- Must be able to pass a background check consistent with applicable local laws
- Must be able to comply with the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act (FDIA) and other applicable laws and regulations
