Requirements

• Strong hands on experience with Java Spring Boot
• Experienced in building REST-API and Microservices from scratch
• Experienced with Containerization - Docker, Kubernetes, Istio
• Some experience with Open-source Streaming - Kafka
• Experienced with Open-source Databases - PostgreSQL, Cassandra
• Experience in working with Open-source Flow-based frameworks - Flink, NiFi/Airflow

Responsibilities

• designing, developing, testing, operating and maintaining products
• taking full stack ownership by consistently writing production-ready and testable code
• performing analysis on failures, proposing design changes, and encouraging operational improvements
• making sound design/coding decisions keeping customer experience in the forefront
• conducting code reviews to provide guidance on engineering best practices and compliance with development procedures
• accountable for ensuring all aspects of product development follow compliance and security best practices

Other

• Five to six years of relevant experience
• Hybrid/flexible schedule, with in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week
• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
