The Vehicle configurator order team at Tesla powers all public vehicle order flows and multiple internal tools, requiring highly scalable platforms to enable the simplest online experiences and services for consumers.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience building applications with React, HTML, CSS
- Proficiency in JavaScript, ES5/6, HTML, CSS and React framework
- Strong understanding of component-based development
- Proficiency with software engineering best practices including writing production quality code, agile development, version control
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications for Tesla’s current and next-generation Digital Experience solutions for the vehicle ordering flows in React / Javascript
- Learn complex systems pertaining to order flow, be responsible for deployment, stability, and usability of applications
- Deliver end-to-end, fully functional features – from requirements gathering through production deployment
- Work with agile requirements
- Collaborate with backend developers, testers, end users
- Ensure high technical standards and code quality
- Contribute to performance optimization of the existing flows
