BambooHR is looking for a Frontend Software Engineer to help shape the future of their HR software for small and medium-sized businesses, focusing on creating complex web UI components and pages, integrating AI into daily tasks, and improving systems and processes.
Requirements
- 7+ years of solid experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- 5+ years of recent experience using React to build high-quality interactive user interfaces
- Demonstrated ability to produce super sweet user interfaces from high-resolution mocks
- Demonstrated ability to effectively build modern UI components from scratch (datepickers, interactive lists, etc.)
- Experience leading projects with multiple developers
- Solid understanding of web standards and cross-browser web development best practices, and the ability to mentor others
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate heavily with designers and our engineering team to create complex web UI components and pages
- Research technologies and engineer complete solutions to problems
- Propose and implement performance optimizations and scaling strategies
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of our systems and processes
- Integrate AI into your daily tasks using IDEs (or plugins) such as Github Copilot and Windsurf. Leverage ChatGPT to streamline your workload by brainstorming and refining ideas, and planning projects.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
- Join our fast-paced team as we innovate at the speed of AI. AI is integrated into our products, development processes, and IDEs. We utilize AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Sonnet, Grok, and Gemini in our daily work.
