VERSANT, Comcast Corporation’s planned spin-off, will be a leading independent publicly traded media company comprised of most of NBCUniversal’s cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025, subject to the satisfaction of customary conditions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional frontend development experience.
  • Expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks (React preferred).
  • Strong grasp of web standards, responsive design, and accessibility.
  • Experience integrating applications with APIs and cloud services.
  • Proficiency with frontend build tools, testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ability to solve ambiguous, cross-team challenges and propose innovative solutions.
  • Familiarity and hands-on exposure with MCP Servers and highly accessible and available API platforms

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deliver scalable and maintainable frontend subsystems.
  • Take ownership of complex features end-to-end, from concept through production.
  • Collaborate with designers to turn ideas into polished, usable experiences.
  • Integrate with backend services, ensuring efficient data flows and system reliability.
  • Balance technical decisions with user impact and business needs.
  • Address ambiguous problems across teams, helping to shape technical direction.
  • Coach and mentor engineers to improve their technical skills and code quality.

  • Fully Remote: This role has been designated as fully remote, meaning it is expected to be performed from a non -Versant worksite, typically an employee’s residence.
  • Occasional travel is required and can range from within the country (typical, various times of the year) to global (not typical but still possible).
