AKASA aims to build the future of healthcare with AI, specifically by providing generative AI solutions for the healthcare revenue cycle to help health systems capture and communicate the full patient clinical journey, streamline operations, and focus on delivering quality patient care. The Sr. Software Engineer, Frontend will help build, implement, and maintain user interfaces for these AI products, which correct clinical errors, deliver measurable value, improve physician documentation, help clinicians identify missing diagnoses, convert documentation to medical codes, and ensure financial integrity for health systems.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in front-end programming
- Experience with ReactJS is required
- TypeScript or Javascript with another strongly typed language
- Strong visual design sense and an ability to empathize with users
- Nice to have: any backend experience with Python
Responsibilities
- Build and land cutting-edge and novel experiences at large healthcare organizations
- Incorporate feedback from internal and external users to iteratively build and implement features that truly solve problems for our customers
- Partner with backend engineers to help define APIs and data flows for a seamless frontend experience
- Partner closely with our product, design, and machine learning teams
- Mentor junior engineers on the team
- Explore and evaluate new technologies in healthcare
