Blackpoint Cyber is looking to improve the quality and reliability of their cloud-based cybersecurity solutions through automated testing and quality assurance.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Playwright, JUnit, TestNG)
- Scripting languages (Typescript, Python)
- Cloud testing tools
- Experience testing cybersecurity solutions (e.g., endpoint detection, threat detection, or SOC platforms)
- Deep understanding of integrating automated tests into continuous integration pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, or Jenkins)
- Experience with cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerized platforms (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Proficient in version control systems like Git
Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated test frameworks for cloud-based solutions
- Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies for endpoint and cloud-based security solutions
- Collaborate with developers to integrate testing early in the software development lifecycle
- Lead efforts to incorporate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
- Track and report defects, work with engineering teams for resolution, and validate fixes
- Continuously enhance testing processes and introduce new tools and best practices
- Provide clear, data-driven reports on product quality, risks, and testing progress

- 8+ years of experience as a Software Engineer in Test
- Mentoring junior engineers and fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement
