Intuitive is looking to improve the early diagnosis of lung cancer with the Ion endoluminal system, a new robotic platform for minimally invasive biopsy in the peripheral lung.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience developing and supporting user interfaces
  • Exceptional working knowledge of C++ and object-oriented programming
  • Familiarity with GUI development frameworks
  • Familiar with development in a Linux environment
  • Experience developing user interfaces using Qt/QML
  • Experience with graphics libraries such as OpenGL, OpenSceneGraph, Vulkan, QtQuick3D
  • Experience with game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine

Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a cross-functional team in a fast-paced, start-up-like business unit
  • Design and implement world-class GUI elements and workflows using Qt/QML and other tools in an embedded C++ environment
  • Prototype new GUI elements and workflows, rapidly iterating to prove concepts or fail quickly
  • Refine prototypes to production-quality software through rapid iterations
  • Contribute to system and software architecture for the Ion platform
  • Create requirements and formal test protocols for new features
  • Stay up to date with latest UI development trends and technologies, and propose innovative solutions to enhance our software

Other

  • BS in CS or related fields; MS or higher is a plus
  • Great communication skills and teamwork
  • High levels of autonomy and technical ownership
