SoftPro is seeking a Senior Implementation Technical Consultant to assist external customers in leveraging their suite of applications by ensuring their technology infrastructure is suitable and resolving performance or application errors.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of IT experience at the server & infrastructure level
  • Microsoft certification or equivalent - MCSA (specifically SQL and Windows certifications)
  • Strong problem solving, analytic and testing skills
  • Experience supporting and troubleshooting the following: Windows 2016 and later Server and Active Directory (all aspects)
  • MS SQL Server 2016 and later experience with installing, configuring and fully supporting
  • Familiar with VMware and virtualization technologies
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure

Responsibilities

  • Participate in presales and new customer Implementation calls and speak to application technical requirements, system recommendations and technical deployment strategies
  • Conduct customer technical consultations to determine if their current hardware or virtual infrastructure configurations meet all application requirements, guidelines and vendor best practices to ensure the best possible experience with our suite of products.
  • Work with various internal and external resources to identify and correct any reported performance or application issues
  • Perform software installations and upgrades for our full suite of products.
  • Perform customer database migrations
  • Accurately document all technical consultations, conversations with customers, resolution steps and gather feedback in Microsoft Dynamics CRM and DevOps
  • Communicate implementation and configuration needs to the Business Services Group and R&D Teams

Other

  • Candidate must be available to work evenings and weekends for after-hours scheduled services.
  • Excellent communication and comfort with presenting technical details is required while this position will regularly interface with customer senior management and technical resources.
  • The ideal candidate will have a great attitude and feel comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment
