Supermicro is seeking a talented Sr. Software QA Engineer to join their software team to examine all aspects of products/applications and perform tests, bringing software quality improvement ideas and new strategies to lead the company forward.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software quality assurance experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with SQA requirements and methodologies.
- Experience with shell scripting and Python is a plus.
- Experience or familiarity with networking, switch validation, or related test environments is a strong plus.
Responsibilities
- Execute software automation.
- Perform IPMI, Redfish, BIOS, and software tools validation.
- Perform software user interface, functional, and stress tests.
- Provide feedback to the design team to improve product quality.
- Utilize analytical skills to validate and verify software/system issues.
- Create detailed evaluation test reports.
- Perform ad-hoc testing on Gold SKU and OEM systems.
