Intelligrated Systems, LLC is looking for a Software Quality Specialist to ensure the quality and reliability of their software through comprehensive testing and defect analysis.
Requirements
- proficiency in testing tools such as Selenium WebDriver and J-meter
- API and UI testing
- knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes
- familiarity with programming languages such as Java and SQL
- understanding of technical design and interface touch points that are internal and external to the system like REST API, JSON, XML, async, socket, thrift, and Kafka
- using Kibana, elastic search, Fluentd for application monitoring, logs, and time-series analytics
- test data configuration and planning for functional, system integration, end-to-end, and volume performance testing using automation, simulation, and emulation test tools.
Responsibilities
- Review functional Stories, Epics and Technical design documents to identify testing scope.
- Provide test estimates in alignment with agile development process.
- Develop and execute test automation suite using Selenium webDriver for functional testing and J-meter for performance/load testing.
- Perform integration testing using Application Programming Interface (API) and User Interface (UI) testing.
- Maintain and monitor automated testing Jobs in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment model.
- Conduct thorough root cause analysis and develop regression testing scenarios for defects.
- Log and track defects to Closure in JIRA.
Other
- Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field and three (3) years of experience in software development.
- Alternatively, employer will accept Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in the stated fields and five (5) years of experience in software development.
- Agile development methodologies and frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban
- understanding of software testing best practices and industry trends
- hands-on experience using Jira for defect management and Agile methodology
