Addressing the challenges of electric vehicles through technology that will set the standards for software-defined vehicles around the world
Requirements
- Demonstrated expertise in debugging embedded systems and automotive networking protocols (specifically CAN, LIN, and Ethernet), as well as complex software/hardware interactions
- Strong experience with electrical systems and circuit analysis, including troubleshooting harnesses, PCBAs, or power distribution systems
- Proven ability to read and comprehend code (e.g., C, C++, Python), interpret logic and structure, and use this understanding to diagnose and resolve system-level issues
- Experience leveraging analytic tools (e.g., Vector CANalyzer or similar automotive data/logging platforms) for large-scale data review, issue triage, and troubleshooting
- Solid grasp of diagnostic strategies and methodologies, able to translate raw data and code behavior into actionable system-level insights and recommendations
Responsibilities
- Serve as the go-to for system-level debugging, root cause analysis, and issue resolution across multiple vehicle domains
- Lead the integration, validation, and optimization of complex embedded software and hardware systems
- Analyze system behavior using data analytics tools and methodologies to identify issues and improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with diagnostics, analytics, and embedded software teams to drive requirements, align test strategies, and implement solutions
- Translate field, factory, and fleet data into actionable insights for development and service teams
- Develop, refine, and automate tools for system health monitoring and analytics visualization
Other
- 5+ years of experience in systems integration, debugging, and analytics within automotive, embedded, or related domains
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, supporting technical initiatives and aligning on solutions from concept through execution
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to clearly articulate system findings, debugging steps, and recommendations for diverse technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to work in a dynamic team environment
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field
