Medtronic is seeking a Sr. Software Tools Engineer to enhance and streamline software development, testing, and quality assurance processes within the Cardiac Ablation Solutions Software team by developing custom tools, scripts, and dashboards.
Requirements
- Experience using innovation to drive process improvements.
- Experience working with tools like JIRA, Polarion , and TestRail, including API integration and automation.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python, C++/ C-Sharp or similar languages
- Strong understanding of good documentation practices
- Experience with software version control systems, such as Git
- Experience with HTML, Flask, and Nginx
- Experience with Agile development
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain custom tools and scripts to support software development, testing, and maintenance processes.
- Automate workflows and processes involving tools such as JIRA, Polarion , Matrix, and TestRail to optimize team efficiency.
- Develop and implement custom dashboards to monitor and assess product quality and progress during development.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, quality assurance, and technical leaders, to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Identify opportunities to improve existing tools and processes, driving innovation and efficiency across the team.
- Generate automated reports and test protocols that provide actionable insights into software performance and quality.
