Requirements
- Demonstrated experience with advanced statistical packages and software.
- Demonstrated experience building and applying machine learning/predictive modeling in real-world use cases.
- Strong modeling and data manipulation skills.
- Strong programming capability; ability to solve problems through programming and simulation.
- Proficient with the use of advanced statistical analysis software and applications (SAS, R, Python, SQL programming, etc.).
- Ability to read, interpret and explain complex statistical theories and practices to a wide audience of varying technical capability.
- Technical aptitude with strong logical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
Responsibilities
- Designs and develops statistical models, applies and interprets validation results to ensure delivery of effective solutions.
- Delivers high quality modeling solutions that following company-wide processes and allow for systematic improvements.
- Supports the management and building of internal and external relationships by serving as a reliable resource in statistical modeling, data and systems, handling requests and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Develops efficient ways to conduct ad-hoc model run processes used to conduct model related research.
- Conducts independent quantitative analytics.
- Execution of quantitative models and tools to support analytic research.
- Leads efforts in development of analytic tools/processes.
Other
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience: Data Science, Data Analysis, Operational Research, Decision Management or equivalent quantitative field. - Required.
- Master's Degree Data Science, Data Analysis, Operational Research, Decision Management or equivalent quantitative field. - Preferred.
- 3+ Years Data mining/advanced analytics applied to large-scale data-intensive projects. - Required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and properly prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
