L3Harris Technologies is seeking to solve the problem of developing and maintaining software development pipelines, deploying software, and managing system configuration in a secure and efficient manner, with a focus on DevOps and national security.
Requirements
- Software development experience
- Demonstrable experience in some of the following areas: Infrastructure-as-code (IAC) maintained using Salt, Ansible, and Puppet.
- Developing software pipelines with tools such as Jenkins, Gitlab-CI, and artifactory.
- Application containerization and on-premises Kubernetes integration.
- Utilizing and developing primarily in Linux.
- Ability to script in various languages (e.g., Python, Bash, groovy).
- Technical background in software development (language agnostic)
Responsibilities
- Lead DevOps team to design and deploy software development pipelines.
- Lead integration of disparate systems for customer end systems in air-gapped environments.
- Architect and implement and maintain features with Git, Infrastructure as Code, and Kubernetes.
- Automation of DevOps through scripting and software application development
- Manage and implement development tools in secure/classified environments, ensuring end-to-end encryption and secure communication channels.
- Implement and manage certificate exchange authentication processes.
- Design, deploy, and maintain Kubernetes clusters to support scalable and robust application deployments.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field and 12 years of relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years prior relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 16 years of relevant experience.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- US Citizenship required due to the nature of our work. Qualified candidates must have or be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
