The Aerojet Rocketdyne Segment of L3Harris is seeking a Sr. Specialist, Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) at our Camden, AR location. This role is responsible for ensuring that delivered products and/or services conform to contractual and the Company’s requirements.
Requirements
- Review and approval of supplier FAIs IAW AS9102.
- Working knowledge of AS9100 Aerospace Quality Management System Standard and AS9102, First Article Inspection Standard.
- Strong problem solving, RCCA and investigation experience.
- Experience in manufacturing and/or inspections.
- Ability to synthesize and analyze data from several sources and develop a plan to take action based upon the data.
Responsibilities
- Work onsite with Receiving Inspection, onsite at regional Suppliers, and with counterparts involved to resolve issues with purchase order product and end item data packages provided.
- Investigate and report supplier quality history as requested by quality engineering or Quality & Mission Assurance (Q&MA) management.
- Visit suppliers to review product & process issues.
- Interface with internal and external customers; i.e., engineering, manufacturing, supplier, procurement to ensure requirements are met.
- Analyze supplier processes and planning to verify compliance with purchase orders, engineering drawings, processes, specifications, etc.
- Review and approval of supplier FAIs IAW AS9102.
- Be an active contributor in Early Supplier Engagements such as Post Award Reviews (PAR), Supplier Manufacturing Readiness Reviews, and Control Plan activity.

- Up to 50% local business travel within the state of Arkansas.
- Ability to obtain US security clearance.
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Quality Engineering or other appropriate discipline and 6 years of directly related Quality Engineering experience.
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related Quality Engineering experience.
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related Quality Engineering experience.
