L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Senior Specialist, Quality Engineer to provide Quality Engineering support for various projects spanning both Missiles and Space Sectors, ensuring suppliers are capable of meeting contract requirements.
Requirements
- Direct Manufacturing and Operational experience in one or more of the following areas: Machining, Composites, Valves, Special Processes, Finishing, etc.
- Project management experience.
- CQE, PMP and other certifications preferred.
- Ability to analyze, evaluate and develop solutions to a variety of situations.
Responsibilities
- Establish a Segment Wide process to incorporate Manufacturing assessments of new suppliers and/or critical procurements.
- Lead from the front and be capable of providing expertise in various manufacturing processes while setting up the process.
- Leverage direct manufacturing experience to develop suppliers and ensure new and existing suppliers are capable of meeting contract requirements.
- Support the new supplier selection process, providing technical input and expertise.
- Interface with adjacent Centers of Excellence to ensure the technical resources exist and are available to support the supply base.
- This includes all technical support such as Manufacturing, Scheduling and Quality.
