Qualifacts is looking for a Sr. Staff Business Intelligence Engineer to design, test, and develop data sets using BI tools, technologies, and systems to meet complex data requirements and business needs, particularly for their Real World Data/Evidence (RWD/RWE) initiatives.
Requirements
- Advanced work experience related to Real World Data/Real World Evidence
- Experience utilizing 837 healthcare claims and EMR data
- Familiarity with RWD research including persistency, compliance, line of therapy, patient journey, epidemiology, market sizing, physician targeting
- Knowledge of healthcare billing codes such as ICD, CPT, HCPCS, and NPI
- 5+ years with data modeling and ETL Development tools
- Ideal exp. with Apache Airflow
- Advanced SQL
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement and maintain data sets to support our Real World Data/Evidence (RWD/RWE) business needs, following BI development best practices and innovative use of appropriate technologies and systems
- Work collaboratively with technical and product management teams to deliver technical solutions
- Work effectively in all phases of application development projects, potentially including requirements validation, design, testing, development and deployment support
- Execute ad hoc dimensional data modelling to create analytics models for internal and external stakeholders
- Provide end-user support for RWD/RWE determination, including investigation and resolution of reported issues in a timely manner

- This is a full time opportunity in either our Nashville or Tampa office working a hybrid schedule.
- Proven ability to translate high-level requirements into actionable development plans and drive execution to completion
- R/Python development experience
- Hands-on experience in business intelligence, reporting, and analytics, with experience in creating algorithms, formulas and calculations
- Advanced Knowledge of dimensional data modeling
