Northrop Grumman is looking for innovators to help them keep building on their wide portfolio of secure, affordable, integrated, and multi-domain systems and technologies that fuel their missions. They need a Sr Staff Cyber Software Tester to test, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems.

Requirements

  • Understanding of design, development, documenting, testing software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions.
  • Experience developing and executing test procedures for software components.
  • Experience in Java programming language is preferred.
  • Capable of performing research in addition to testing efforts.
  • An ability to determine computer user needs and analyze system capabilities to resolve problems.

Responsibilities

  • The Sr Staff Cyber Software Tester will test, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements.
  • This person designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions,
  • conducts multidisciplinary research, and collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, testing, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software.

  • A current and active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph with latest polygraph being less than 10 years old.
  • Twenty (20) years of experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
  • An ability to work in a team environment and individually is preferred.
