Uber's Consumer Pricing and Incentive team needs to shape consumer demand for Uber's Delivery business, impacting hundreds of millions of consumers and millions of merchants globally. The role requires technical leadership in designing highly scalable systems to support this rapid growth.
Requirements
- Experience in programming language (e.g. C, C++, Java, Python, or Go)
- Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms
- Experience with large scale distributed system
- Demonstrated experience of the operational aspects of monitoring, alerting, and structuring code for production-level debugging
- Prior experience in the pricing domain
- Knowledge of machine learning and/or optimization
- A background in product experimentation including the statistical knowledge, mechanics of experimentation and analysis so that you are able to interpret, debug and challenge experimental results when necessary

- For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$257,000 per year - USD$285,500 per year.
- For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$257,000 per year - USD$285,500 per year.
- For Seattle, WA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$257,000 per year - USD$285,500 per year.
