Cribl needs to build and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs with a focus on user identity, authentication, and authorization to support its diverse suite of products.
Requirements
- 12+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong focus on identity management and related security protocols
- Extensive experience with full-stack TypeScript development, emphasizing backend systems
- Proficient in cloud technologies, particularly AWS
- Proven track record of driving large-scale architectural changes and addressing complex technical challenges
- Strong expertise in designing and implementing automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines
- General knowledge of various cloud environments is a plus
- Experience with SCIM provisioning, IDP syncing, SSO, MFA, RBAC, and credential management
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs with a focus on user identity, authentication and authorization
- Implement industry-standard identity providers and protocols to manage user identities
- Drive continuous deployment (CI/CD) and automated testing strategies to ensure software quality
- Collaborate with Product and Operations teams to define the vision and scope of our identity management solutions
- Collaborate with the architecture team to help drive the vision of the team and the broader platform area
- Work across the platform area with other staff+ engineers
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring junior engineers and guiding the team towards best practices
