The Senior Systems Programming Analyst position at UPS aims to assist in the design, development, and testing of automation used to deploy and manage the UPS Windows infrastructure, improving reliability, efficiency, and availability of the systems environment.

Requirements

• Significant knowledge of Windows development platforms such as Microsoft .NET
• Knowledge of technologies such as DevSecOps principles, Kanban management platforms, and Azure DevOps
• Foundational knowledge of the Windows operating system platform
• Foundational knowledge of the Azure Cloud and Entra platform
• Experience with Project management in an application development environment
• Knowledge of software development and security vulnerability management
• Experience with automation technologies and processes

Responsibilities

• Assisting the design, development, and testing of the automation used to deploy and manage the UPS Windows infrastructure
• Identifying and implementing automation of technologies and processes to improve the reliability, efficiency, and availability of the systems environment
• Leading junior team members in design, development, architecture, and project management
• Developing and maintaining systems such as the UPS Windows Deployment System (COSMIC) and the LOEv3 Environment Automation
• Providing Windows based programmatic solutions to UPS where existing solutions do not exist or are cost prohibitive
• Managing, maintaining and supporting the UPS Windows infrastructure, which comprises of 250,000+ Workstations and Servers globally
• Troubleshooting complex issues and performing kernel level debugging
