MetroStar is looking to solve technical architecture and technical expertise problems on a project by hiring a Sr. Technical Director

Requirements

  • Minimum of ten (10) years of technical/system/data architecture and technology leadership expertise
  • Repeat experience offering technical direction, guidance, and providing hands-on solutioning for a large, complex data projects with multiple stakeholders and integrations
  • Experience architecting and providing technical leadership for object-based data integration initiatives within the DoD or Intelligence Community involving object-based exchange, metadata, tagging, etc.. aligned with IC standards
  • Ability to integrate agile delivery methodologies (such as agile Scrum and Kanban) to ensure iterative development and continuous improvement
  • Ability to apply current industrial development best practices that contain iterative and incremental project management techniques similar to agile software development lifecycle standards and utilizing National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) RMF
  • Ability to identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities in applications, infrastructure, and processes, and work with relevant stakeholders to implement appropriate mitigations
  • TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a technical SME who will offer technical architecture, technical expertise, and innovative problem solving skills on this project
  • Convey technical direction to team members
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine the portfolio capabilities to align with business and mission objectives, development goals, and security requirements
  • Integrate agile delivery methodologies to ensure iterative development and continuous improvement
  • Apply current industrial development best practices that contain iterative and incremental project management techniques
  • Conduct/facilitate Technical Exchange Meetings and Preliminary Design, Critical Design meetings
  • Work directly with the Government program management office (PMO) to evaluate priorities and set deliverable timeline

Other

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Management or Engineering, or other comparable degree or experience
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work directly with the Government program management office (PMO)
  • Ability to communicate with government and program leadership
  • Must be able to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States
