Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies is looking to address the challenges of electric vehicles through technology that will set the standards for software-defined vehicles around the world by driving software integration, execution, and deliverables for wireless radio system modules.
Requirements
- Experience with wireless industry standards (e.g. cellular 3GPP), mobile network operators, RF, WiFi, and/or firmware development
- Experience with Linux/Android-based embedded. systems and electronics hardware.
- Product development experience in computer engineering and/or electronics.
- Familiarity with vehicle communication standards and networks (e.g., CAN, Ethernet, UDS).
Responsibilities
- Drive software execution work including internal development, vendor software release and integration, validation, and issue management for on-time product delivery
- Collaborate with software developers, technical partners, and testing teams to achieve business and technical goals
- Develop trusted relationships and improve processes to increase development velocity
- Provide technical judgement to make plans, decisions, and resolve issues
- Develop and maintain integration schedules, roadmaps, priorities and execution plans
Other
- BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Automotive industry experience or familiarity with automotive-grade software development is a plus.
