Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to implement characterization, development, and production testing of infrared readouts, focal plane arrays, and Dewars, ensuring high reliability in advanced technology markets.
Requirements
- Desired familiarity with automated semiconductor wafer probing.
- Desired knowledge of Teradyne equipment programming and operation extremely desirable.
- Desired knowledge of Bolometer and cooled ROIC functionality.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- ISO 9001 experience – preferred
Responsibilities
- Implement characterization, development, and production testing of both uncooled and cooled infrared readouts, focal plane arrays and Dewars.
- Reviews and analyzes test data.
- Works with Engineering, equipment maintenance and field service to diagnose and maintain wafer probers.
- Prepares test reports summarizing findings and yields.
- Characterizations, test, and analysis of readouts, FPA’s and flight Dewars in a production environment.
- Develop test software or modify/augment previously developed software using MATLAB, C and visual basic.
- Configure test set hardware to perform characterization or production testing.
Other
- Must have Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and 5-7 years related experience in related field; Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering with 3-5 years of experience or PhD in Electrical Engineering with 0-2 years of experience.
- Mentor for test engineers and technicians in a production environment.
- Assist other engineers and technicians in the performance of related duties.
- Interact with various supervisors and production personnel to ensure effective communication and product flow.
