Requirements
- Strong experience on Cloud management tools and related programming (Terraform, CI/CD, IaC, DevOps, Terratest, Python, Cloud Formation, Ansible, GitHub, CircleCI, Jenkins, and Infra Automation)
- Strong working experience on Kubernetes, Docker, Linux, and cloud services integrations
- Expert knowledge in performance (sub millisecond latencies), scalability, availability (99.99% uptime), enterprise architecture best practices
- Experience leading system design, architecture leveraging AWS and/or Azure/GCP services and Private Cloud
- Demonstrable experience building and operating infrastructure as code
- Experience building high-performance, highly-available, and scalable distributed systems in the cloud
- AWS Certification Advance Architecting, Developing on AWS (Preferred)
Responsibilities
- Design and architect new systems and services leveraging cloud infrastructure that can scale 10X better in terms of availability, reliability, performance, and efficiency
- Provide system architecture artifacts and accountability on cloud infrastructure choices
- Guide on using the right machine type, network designs, etc.
- Solve complex technical problems in Public Clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Private Cloud environment and improve Operational Excellence
- Analyze complex distributed production deployments and recommend ways to optimize performance and/or automate processes
- Identify opportunities to make disruptive improvements in cloud infrastructure usage, operations, and services with a high degree of systematic automation
- Collaborate with stakeholders and lead engineers on key mission-critical projects
Other
- Bachelor's degree and/or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- 8+ years of Cloud backend engineering, Cloud Design, Deployment, DevOps
- Excellent cross-group collaboration, outstanding verbal and written communication
- Team leading experience (Preferred)
- Excellent cross-group collaboration and communication skills (Preferred)
