Verkada is looking to build out its cloud-managed intercom systems, which is a new and rapidly growing product line. The company needs experienced backend engineers to architect and develop scalable, latency-sensitive applications for these intercoms.
Requirements
- 7+ years of industry backend software engineering experience
- 4+ years of professional experience as a backend engineer at a rapidly growing start up or innovative company.
- Experience driving technical direction and leading teams on project execution
- Architect scalable systems and design latency sensitive applications for our Intercoms deployed around the world.
- Experience collaborating cross functionally to design complex systems with simple and robust backend APIs
- History of shipping out significant products. We are looking for someone who can own backend systems end-to-end.
- Deep expertise with relational databases. Postgres experience a plus
- Demonstrated expertise in either Python or GoLang
- Experience with Kubernetes a plus
