Credence is seeking a Senior Staff Consultant to support Air Combat Command (HQ ACC) Directorate of Cyberspace Operations and Warfighting Communications (A6) Zero Trust (ZT) Chief Technology Officer (CN/CTO) by providing strategic consulting, expert guidance, and developing plans and processes to align with DoD policies, cybersecurity frameworks, and enterprise architecture standards, specifically focusing on Zero Trust initiatives.
Requirements
- 2 years of Strategic or Technical IT Consulting experience for Fortune 500 organizations or DoD/Federal agencies; preferably involving emerging tech, software development, AI, zero-trust, and/or user experience.
- Experience translating business strategies or technical concepts into Information Technology strategic plans
- Experience rendering/translating policy, strategy, or governance into compelling graphics, roadmaps, or presentations to drive new strategies/outcomes
- Experience with AF Enterprise IT, Zero Trust architecture, or cloud migration in a defense context.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and digital transformation initiatives in federal environments.
- Certified Zero Trust Strategist (ZTS) – Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) and/or NIST Zero Trust Architecture Training and/or Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert and/or MIT xPro – Zero Trust Strategy certifications
- Artificial Intelligence training or certification
Responsibilities
- Create a list of artifacts mapping Capability Elements and Services to their respective Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) Capabilities.
- Develop capability roll-out plans to coordinate across EIT’s siloed stakeholders.
- Develop a launch mechanism and facilitated forum to track execution of ‘EIT Strategic Imperative Roadmaps’.
- Support the roadmap agile tracking process with a centralized knowledge base that serves as a source for ‘EIT Strategic Imperative Roadmaps’ data.
- Establish repeatable, standardized processes to build, escalate and socialize ‘EIT Strategic Imperative Roadmaps’.
- Establish capabilities, and work with the DAF ZT FMO, to coordinate, track, and drive activities in support of the ZT Roadmap.
- Assist in the development of policy, directives, memorandums, Concept of Operations (CONOPS), Concepts of Implementation (CONIMP) and other documentation to support cyber security, cyber operations capability employment, governance, oversight, risk management, strategy, command and control, failover and support to sections of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, NIST ZT guidance, DoD ZT Architecture, and other Federal Government documents and regulations.

- Storyboarding/Storytelling experience; preferably communicating complex technical concepts in a clear, understandable manner to non-technical audiences
