Arwood Machine, a VulcanForms Company, is seeking to improve customer quality and resolve customer complaints in a timely and effective manner.

Requirements

  • Experience in an aerospace, medical device, or manufacturing environment
  • Experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS) within a Supplier Quality organization
  • Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
  • Experience working closely with other engineering disciplines in an integrated team environment
  • Experience with regulatory requirements
  • Experience reviewing contracts, managing suppliers, and/or experience working with inventory
  • Preferred auditing accreditation to ASD9100 or ISO13485

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the management of customer complaints, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Interface directly with customers to understand and implement their quality requirements on the plant floor.
  • Create and implement processes for tracking and analyzing customer feedback and quality issues.
  • Conduct Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations and complete Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs) as required by customers.
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and customer service teams to identify and resolve quality concerns.
  • Develop and maintain quality documentation, including reports and process maps.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on customer feedback and quality metrics.

Other

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 3-5+ years equivalent experience in a medical device or aerospace environment
  • 3+ years of experience in a quality job role
  • 2+ years of experience in a customer complaint analysis or investigative role
  • 1+ years of experience gathering data and performing a Root Cause Corrective Action
  • Experience interfacing and presenting to senior and executive leadership
