Arwood Machine, a VulcanForms Company, is seeking to improve customer quality and resolve customer complaints in a timely and effective manner.
Requirements
- Experience in an aerospace, medical device, or manufacturing environment
- Experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS) within a Supplier Quality organization
- Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
- Experience working closely with other engineering disciplines in an integrated team environment
- Experience with regulatory requirements
- Experience reviewing contracts, managing suppliers, and/or experience working with inventory
- Preferred auditing accreditation to ASD9100 or ISO13485
Responsibilities
- Oversee the management of customer complaints, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with stakeholders.
- Interface directly with customers to understand and implement their quality requirements on the plant floor.
- Create and implement processes for tracking and analyzing customer feedback and quality issues.
- Conduct Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations and complete Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs) as required by customers.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and customer service teams to identify and resolve quality concerns.
- Develop and maintain quality documentation, including reports and process maps.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on customer feedback and quality metrics.
Other
- Bachelor’s Degree or 3-5+ years equivalent experience in a medical device or aerospace environment
- 3+ years of experience in a quality job role
- 2+ years of experience in a customer complaint analysis or investigative role
- 1+ years of experience gathering data and performing a Root Cause Corrective Action
- Experience interfacing and presenting to senior and executive leadership
