Requirements
- SQL expertise with experience analyzing nuanced datasets and writing complex queries
- Professional familiarity with applied statistics and scripting languages like Python or R
- Deep experience with ELT data modeling, especially with dbt
- Building analytical narratives using modern BI tools like Hashboard, Looker, and Omni
- Experience with data visualization tools
- Familiarity with data modeling and data warehousing concepts
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms
Responsibilities
- Shape Strategic Insights by establishing key metrics, building dynamic visualizations, and automating reporting workflows
- Drive Operational Efficiency by developing metrics, self-service tools, and in-depth analyses
- Identify and Address Opportunities by proactively uncovering areas for improvement
- Build Product Analytics Models using proprietary Vercel data to optimize growth strategies
- Prototype and Innovate by rapidly prototyping and iterating on dashboards and data tools
- Support Data Accessibility by developing and maintaining analytical technologies
- Influence the Data Roadmap by working closely with the Data Analytics department and internal stakeholders
Other
- 6+ years of experience in a Data Analyst, Product Analyst, Operations Analyst, Business Analyst, or a similar role
- Very strong executive communication skills and empathy to understand and discover business pain points
