PG Forsta is looking to solve the problem of delivering the best experiences to their clients by empowering organizations to turn data into insights that drive innovation and action, specifically through the Unified Data Platform backend enablement for Patient Experience using Azure and On Premises SQL Server
Requirements
- 4 years of experience with analytical solutions and data modeling in relational databases including MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL and Azure SQL DB
- 4 years’ experience writing, tuning, troubleshooting complex SQL queries and SSIS ETL packages
- 4 years’ experience with Azure cloud, including SQL databases, Azure Databricks and Delta Lake using Azure Data Factory
- 1 year experience with Python code, Functions and Spark SQL
- Experience with Windows based platforms
- Experience with computer languages
- Experience with data modeling and relational databases
Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, architect, develop and test software systems that simulate business processes and can be used to optimize and increase their efficiency, using various computer languages on Windows based platforms
- Gather customer requirements and create high-level component level architecture
- Write detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs
- Review computer system capabilities, workflow, and schedule limitations to determine if requested program or program change is possible within existing system
- Serve as a key member in evolving and maturing our enterprise data strategy and capabilities at Press Ganey
- Extract data from source systems using Azure and On Premises SQL Server
- Develop and test software systems to optimize business processes
Other
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Technology degree or related field
- 4 years’ experience as Staff Data Engineer, BI Developer or a similar occupation performing software engineering and related duties
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment
- Commitment to learning and continuous improvement
- Ability to communicate effectively with organizational units involved
