Requirements

  • MS/PhD in a quantitative discipline (e.g., computer science, machine learning, data science, engineering) with 10+ years of experience in data science, software engineering, or data architecture
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale machine learning systems, with expertise in scaling AI-powered solutions
  • Ability to architect and develop next-generation ML systems, staying ahead of industry trends and integrating latest advancements (e.g., GenAI)
  • Deep understanding of current ML systems and the ability to evolve them into cutting-edge, innovative, and scalable solutions
  • Strong background in programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++)
  • Strong understanding of operational maturity, industry challenges, and future risks and opportunities in large-scale AI systems
  • Ad technology and product expertise

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and cross-functional teams to architect and implement cutting edge machine learning systems at scale, driving technical strategy and roadmap for AI capabilities
  • Present and drive alignment w/ Senior Leadership across all lines of business on ad technology innovations
  • Define and execute the technical vision for current and future ML capabilities as it relates to ad recommendations, with a focus on GenAI and Agentic systems
  • Design and develop large-scale AI systems, leveraging expertise to evolve current systems and create competitive advantages in ad tech
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and challenges, identifying opportunities and risks to inform technical decisions and drive innovation
  • Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and oversight to data scientists and engineers, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing
  • Exhibit intellectual curiosity, intrinsic drive, decisiveness, and resilience in navigating technical ambiguity and complexity

  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive innovation
