Block's Sales & Partnerships Analytics & Data Science team aims to unlock revenue opportunities through insightful analytics, robust reporting, and scalable data products for their Sales and Go-To-Market (GTM) Operations partners. The team blends business analytics, data science, and AI/Automation to transform sales and partnership data into actionable insights that drive business growth, scale strategic programs, and improve partner experiences.
Requirements
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, with hands-on experience using tools like dbt and Airflow.
- Experience building self-serve dashboards (Looker, Tableau, or similar).
- Strong statistical knowledge and applied experience.
- Proficiency in Python coding paired with an understanding of machine learning and modeling concepts and applications.
- Expert-level storytelling and visualization skills—able to drive strategy through insights.
Responsibilities
- Own the metrics, data, and insight generation to optimize our partner relationships, from defining success in the relationship to helping locate new partners to work with.
- Own and automate the end-to-end partnership payout processes, ensuring scalability and data quality as the program expands to include 3rd party and international partners.
- Build AI-driven tools that enable partner and sales stakeholders to self-serve analytics, enhancing efficiency and reducing manual dependencies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders in Partnerships, Sales, Marketing, and Finance to: Deliver performance insights on key partner programs.
- Prioritize growth opportunities and scaling new programs
- Build strategic dashboards and pipelines to support business decisions.
- Lead the development of scalable infrastructure, including restructuring legacy ETL jobs and pipelines to ensure long-term sustainability.
