Manage software releases across all products and customers within the Systems Firmware organization, ensuring seamless integration and delivery of high-quality firmware solutions.
Requirements
- Solid understanding of computer hardware systems.
- Hands-on experience in embedded firmware development.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
- Strong project management skills, including tracking deliverables, managing timelines, and coordinating across teams.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., GIT).
Responsibilities
- Collaborate daily with firmware and test engineers to define feature requirements, resolve bugs, and deliver high-quality firmware releases.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and test teams to address technical challenges, align on dependencies, and ensure timely delivery of firmware releases.
- Interface directly with external customers to gather requirements, provide technical updates, and ensure firmware solutions meet customer expectations.
- Provide regular updates on software deliverables to firmware leadership and business stakeholders.
- Engage hands-on with current products and firmware to drive technical excellence and product understanding.
- Support release planning, milestone tracking, and risk mitigation activities.
