Western Alliance Bank is looking to enhance its IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Asset Management (ITAM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), and Configuration Management Database (CMDB) capabilities through strategic planning, reliable engineering practices, and comprehensive technical documentation.

Requirements

  • As a ServiceNow developer, you will focus on specific areas such as IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Asset Management (ITAM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), and Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
  • You will develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow ITSM applications to streamline and optimize service delivery processes. This includes incident, problem, change, and request management modules.
  • You will manage the ServiceNow ITAM applications to track and manage IT assets throughout their lifecycle. This includes implementing solutions for asset tracking, inventory management, and compliance with organizational policies and industry standards.
  • You will leverage ServiceNow ITOM applications to monitor and manage the health and performance of IT services and infrastructure. This involves automating routine tasks, orchestrating workflows, and ensuring proactive identification and resolution of issues.
  • You will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing the ServiceNow CMDB to ensure accurate and up-to-date configuration data. Managing relationships between configuration items and ensuring data integrity will be essential for supporting decision-making and incident resolution processes.
  • Additional experience with pipeline development and leveraging Azure DevOps while working on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in governance patterns tied to intake, technical reviews and architectural compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain applications to enhance service delivery.
  • Track and manage IT assets throughout their lifecycle.
  • Monitor and manage the health and performance of IT services and infrastructure.
  • Lead the strategic planning of a project as it relates to technical solution design.
  • Design and implement engineering principles aimed at reliability practices and sound recovery procedures.
  • Design transaction specific application performance monitoring metrics that can be captured and passed to business partners.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations and procedures while also ensuring compliance with IT policies, procedures, and industry standards.

Other

  • 5+ years of related experience in IT App Support, IT Development, IT Networking, or similar field.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of general Financial Services or Banking preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
  • Advanced proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • May require up to 25% travel.
