AmeriHome, a Western Alliance Bank company, is looking to streamline and enhance business workflows in the mortgage lending space by building a cutting-edge platform, and this role is intended to help shape the software that drives the evolving business needs.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of related experience in IT Development, or similar field including designing and building highly available and scalable applications with C in .NET, ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core or MVC
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of general Financial Services or Banking
  • Advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, and AWS)
  • Familiarity with Azure OpenAI Service or certified AI-102 is a plus
  • Advanced proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Intermediate to advanced ability to see the big picture and align projects with organizational goals

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the architectural design, development, and implementation of robust and scalable software applications using .NET and C
  • Take assignments that can be worked on individually without supervision and manage work effort from concept to completion
  • Design and implement engineering principles aimed at reliability practices and sound recovery procedures
  • Design transaction specific application performance monitoring metrics that can be captured and passed to business partners
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and industry standards, including reviewing and refining IT control enhancements
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, architects, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to coding standards

  • Bachelor's degree in related field required
  • May require up to 25% travel

  • Capable of leading and motivating cross-functional teams
  • Expertise in resolving conflicts and addressing challenges as well as skilled at identifying and mitigating risks at the project level
