Western Alliance Bank is looking for a Staff Engineer II - Full Stack Developer to provide expertise in a suite of technical tools and products to ensure solutions are safe, secure, compliant, and reliable. The role involves identifying, developing, and supporting needs, taking on design responsibilities, and facilitating collaboration to deliver innovative software solutions.
Requirements
- Extensive experience with ASP.NET Web APIs to build Restful APIs.
- Good working experience in building applications using .Net MVC, Entity Framework, LINQ, SQL Server, JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
- 5+ years of solutioning and designing high available client facing production grade responsive applications.
- 5+ years of experience using Git, TFS/Azure DevOps for source control / project tracking / build management.
- Additional experience with pipeline development and leveraging Azure DevOps while working on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analysis, problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Work in Scrum/Agile environment to plan and estimate the work at different levels.
Responsibilities
- Architect, design, create and maintain the full stack (front end and back end) of customer-facing cloud-based applications.
- Develop front and back-end website/app architecture.
- Contribute to continuous improvements of the existing product suite.
- Conduct code reviews.
- Ensure web products are responsive and optimized for a variety of devices such as low-end mobile phones, desktop.
- Proactively identify and fix issues to improve backend service scalability, resiliency, and fault tolerance.
- Design and implement engineering principles aimed at reliability practices and sound recovery procedures.
