Requirements
- Extensive experience with network programming.
- Experience developing on a Linux platform.
- Knowledge of Networking Protocols (TCP, UDP, TLS, DNS, DHCPv6)
- Expertise in C, C++, Rust or similar language.
- Security protocol experience (SSL, authentication and authorization, firewall).
- Prior working experience on one or more Cloud Service Providers (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, Alibaba cloud, etc.).
- Familiarity with overlays and tunneling technologies.
Responsibilities
- Own the design, development, and reliability of significant data plane components, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
- Implement and test features and improvements to the DCF data plane in C/C++.
- Design and develop data plane filtering and security enforcement logic in C/C++.
- Write and present design proposals and documentations for moderately complex features.
- Contribute to improvements that strengthen customer security posture.
- Debug and fix issues to improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of DCF components.
- Use your technical expertise to improve code quality through code and design reviews.

- 6+ years of relevant software development experience.
- Strong collaboration skills; able to work well in team-oriented and fast-paced environments.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Mentor junior engineers by providing technical guidance and feedback.
- Represent the DCF team as a technical contact in cross-functional discussions and external technical engagements as needed.
