Asana is looking to transform how customers collaborate with AI to fundamentally change the way they work. The research will inform decisions and strategic initiatives including visioning and roadmap prioritization for the AI Studio group.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience practicing UX Research for digital products with a wide variety of research methods applied across the product development cycle
- Experience guiding product strategy informed and backed by insights, building for complex B2B platforms
- 1 year or more on a product-led growth team
- Able to distill research findings into clear, actionable, and practical insights that help your teams meet business goals
- Skilled presenter and persuasive communicator who quickly builds trust and rapport with stakeholders at every level
- Passion for AI and continuous exploration of emerging tools to stay at the forefront of industry practices
- Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple projects at various stages in the research cycle
Responsibilities
- Be a UXR leader for the AI Group at Asana - inform the vision, strategy, and priorities for AI Studio
- Build a well-rounded understanding of our customers and communicate that empathy throughout the company
- Through your research and leadership skills, ensure that we ship meaningful, informed customer experiences that achieve business goals
- Identify and prioritize research needs and proactively plan your roadmap in partnership with fellow leads and product teams
- Balance strategic and tactical research to deliver high-impact results; coach & empower teams to conduct focused product research
- Collaborate with UXR leadership to recognize insights themes, connect dots across areas and pillars, advocate for research, and identify research questions that aren't being asked
- Recommend and implement improvements to the UXR team's workflow and tools, partnering with Research Ops to scale our work and advance how we leverage AI throughout our research processes

- This role is based in our San Francisco office with an office-centric hybrid schedule.
- Most Asanas, you'll work from this office in person on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
