Requirements
- 10+ years of backend development experience with strong fullstack capabilities and deep expertise in distributed systems
- Expert knowledge of TypeScript/JavaScript and modern backend frameworks
- Extensive experience with database design and distributed data systems (CockroachDB or similar)
- Strong proficiency in frontend technologies (React, TypeScript) with ability to architect fullstack solutions
- Strong background in financial systems architecture and implementation
- Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS), microservices architecture, and containerization
- Experience building trading systems or financial platforms
Responsibilities
- Drive technical architecture decisions that shape the future of our backend platform
- Lead the design and implementation of large-scale distributed systems and fullstack features across multiple projects
- Establish backend engineering standards and best practices that scale across the organization
- Tackle complex technical challenges in system design, scalability, reliability, and performance
- Guide and mentor senior engineers through complex technical decisions and fullstack implementation
- Drive technical excellence through code reviews, architecture reviews, and technical documentation
- Design and implement critical financial systems architecture while considering frontend implications
