Rippling is looking to solve the problem of managing and automating every part of the employee lifecycle in a single system, including onboarding, payroll, expenses, benefits, and computers.
Requirements
- Extensive Experience: 8+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with a focus on building large-scale user facing products
- Technical Expertise: Proven expertise in developing complex, distributed services using languages such as Python, Golang, or Java.
- Cloud Experience (Bonus): Experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms is a plus.
- Product Ownership: A commitment to owning the product lifecycle and solving real-world problems for our customers.
- Customer-Centric Mindset: Passionate about working in a product-focused environment with a deep commitment to customer impact.
Responsibilities
- Innovate and Lead: Design and develop high-quality software products, driving architectural decisions and overseeing the complete product delivery lifecycle.
- Collaborate and Execute: Coordinate cross-team collaborations, integrate customer feedback into the product engineering roadmap, and drive successful delivery execution.
- Mentor and Inspire: Guide and mentor engineers on the team, fostering a culture of growth and mentorship across the team
- Define the long-term technical strategy to sustainably maintain our products as we grow and scale - acting as a technical leader across the team and org
- Have a lot of clear ownership over various parts of the product. Collaborate cross-functionally with designers, PMs, and fellow engineers to plan features to help bring a high quality product to market
- Contribute to infrastructure and frameworks used by the larger technical community at Rippling
