Prenuvo is looking to solve the business problem of shifting healthcare from reactive "sick-care" to proactive healthcare by leveraging technology, automation, and AI in radiology and clinical operations.
Requirements
- 10+ years solving technical challenges with your strong command of back-end tech stack (primarily Python, GraphQL and frameworks like Flask and/or FastAPI) and front-end tech stack (primarily React, Typescript, and Redux)
- experience in other tech stacks (like Java and/or NodeJS, AngularJS, VueJS, MobX) and frameworks (like Django)
- experience in Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (PACS,OHIF, DICOM, FDA, ISO 14971, ISO 13485, Electronic Medical Record, Healthlake Imaging, Medical Imaging)
- Strong experience and knowledge of different types of databases (like SQL and/or NoSQL - primarily Postgres and/or DynamoDB)
- experience in graphic libraries (like OpenGL, Verge3D, Babylon.js, PyQt5, Tkinter)
- Experience in different CI/CD pipelines (like CircleCI, Jenkins or TravisCI)
- cloud experience (like AWS, GCP and/or Azure)
Responsibilities
- Improving system quality by identifying issues and common patterns, and developing standard operating procedures
- Enhancing applications by identifying opportunities for improvement, making recommendations and designing and implementing systems.
- Maintaining and improving existing codebases and peer review code changes.
- Liaising with colleagues to implement technical designs
- Investigating and using new technologies where relevant
- Providing written knowledge transfer material
Other
- Candidates with Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, equivalent experience or evidence of exceptional ability to help elevate the team are always welcome
- Outstanding all-round communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Proficiency in troubleshooting software issues and debugging a large codebase
- There is a preference for candidates based in Toronto for a hybrid work model to allow for better collaboration, however, the team is open to remote candidates across the U.S. and Canada who can work Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours.
- The base salary for this role ranges from $166,000 to $249,000 USD per year, depending upon experience and geographic location
