Regeneron Manufacturing (IOPS) AI Engineer is responsible for developing and deploying complex artificial intelligence (AI) solutions to solve specific business challenges within the IOPS organization.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of AI algorithms, machine learning techniques (e.g., deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision), and related software frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python, experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and knowledge of software development methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Lead all phases of AI engineering projects from conception to production.
- Conduct thorough data analysis, feature engineering, and data preprocessing to prepare datasets for model training.
- Train, evaluate, and fine-tune AI models to achieve optimal performance metrics.
- Monitor model performance in production environments and identify areas for improvement.
- Design, develop, and implement AI solutions (e.g., deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision) to address specific business challenges.
- Design and build scalable AI infrastructure, including data pipelines, model serving frameworks, and cloud-based deployment architectures.
- Optimize AI systems for performance and efficiency, considering latency, throughput, and resource utilization.

- Proven experience in leading AI and Intelligent Automation initiatives, with a strong track record of successful AI and Intelligent Automation solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical people.
- BS/BA in IT, Scientific or Engineering discipline (Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering) or related field
- Principal: 8+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Staff: 10+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
