Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is seeking a Staff Infrastructure Architect to support the team in Aurora, CO. As a part of the Systems Engineering Integration & Test (SEIT) team, the candidate will be responsible for architecture, design, and deployment activities for the program’s hardware footprint.
Requirements
- Ability to drive the design of infrastructure for new products and capabilities
- Understanding of multiple Vendors and ability to recommend COTS and HW solutions
- Ability to perform trades on infrastructure components and system build up
- Ability to create and support Bill of Materials (BOMs)
- Able to get quotes and work with vendors and support the build team in procurement of IT equipment
- Ability to communicate across teams and mentor junior engineers
Responsibilities
- providing and maintaining HW engineering documentation (i.e., Rack Els, Floor Plans, etc…)
- Provisioning Specification (P-Spec) management
- overall build and delivery roadmap
- working with network engineers for firewall, DNS and IP management, submittal, and tracking
- participate with a multi-disciple team to mitigate and solve and program concerns
- supporting program and software management teams to manage software lifecycle issues and deployments with deliveries
- Provide support to systems engineering designs including managing requirements for infrastructure
Other
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline and 12 years of relevant experience; 10 years of relevant experience with a Master's; 8 years of relevant experience with a PhD
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance required at time of application and willingness to submit to a polygraph
