Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to deeply engage with technical teams, driving clear communication and collaboration across front-end, back-end, and hardware engineering disciplines.
  • Proven experience conducting impactful workshops and driving cross-functional alignment on UX strategies and designs.
  • A deep passion for crafting user-centric solutions that significantly enhance product usability and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the design vision to unify physical and digital user experiences, creating seamless, consumer-like interactions across da Vinci Multiport Systems.
  • Ensure interfaces and interactions are simple to use, quick to respond, and clearly structured to enhance user productivity and satisfaction.
  • Conduct user research, including interviews, observations, and usability testing, to deeply understand the needs, behaviors, and pain points of target users.
  • Develop detailed user personas and scenarios to inform interaction design strategies and solutions.
  • Create comprehensive wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes that effectively communicate design solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to drill deep into technical considerations, ensuring content flows efficiently and instantly.
  • Incorporate principles of clarity, consistency, and error prevention to ensure robust user experiences.

Other

  • Minimum of 10-15 years in design or UX-focused roles, with substantial experience leading interaction design strategies for complex products.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively present to senior management.
  • Portfolio required for application.
