Requirements

  • 10+ years of SwiftUI/Swift or UIKit/AppKit/Objective-C software engineering experience with impact to show for it
  • Stellar engineering quality & output - you separate concerns and define well-abstracted interfaces, delivering performant, well-tested, maintainable code with appropriate failure modes
  • Technical leadership - you exemplify “what good looks like” in code, in documentation, making and delivering on commitments, and prioritization
  • Critical thinking with influence - you systematically evaluate the tradeoffs associated with each potential solution to a problem, make an informed decision, and articulate these things well to influence others, driving impact
  • Platform API design - you’re proficient at designing, building, and supporting a platform, understanding customer needs and constraints

Responsibilities

  • Evolving and realizing the technical vision for Screen Time and working cross-functionality to align on that vision with partner teams
  • Breaking down the most complex technical challenges into the right phases and abstractions so the work can be distributed across the team
  • Purposefully and intentionally investing in the growth of junior engineers
