Angi is seeking to transform into a world-class online marketplace by leveraging machine learning and AI techniques to optimize the homeowner-pro matching, search ranking, and overall consumer experience.
Requirements
- Expertise in machine learning and deep learning.
- Good working knowledge of large language models (LLMs).
- Proven track record of deploying highly impactful machine learning models into production environments.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Experience with cloud ML solutions.
- Experience in data science & machine learning with a focus on real-time ML models.
- Experience within tech industry & marketplace environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead development of machine learning models and algorithms to improve search ranking and consumer-pro matching.
- Implement robust MLOps practices for seamless deployment and scalability of machine learning models.
- Automate model training, versioning, monitoring, and deployment processes.
- Collaborate on the end-to-end development process of data-driven solutions.
- Explore new approaches and techniques to solve complex business problems using machine learning and AI.
- Apply state-of-the-art machine learning and AI techniques such as LLMs and neural rankers to structured and unstructured data.
- Deploy machine learning models at large scale with low latencies to serve customers dynamically.
Other
- You have a Master’s or Ph.D. in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields).
- You have 7+ years of experience in data science & machine learning, with a focus on real-time ML models, ideally within the tech industry & marketplace environments.
- You have excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
