Vetcove is seeking a Staff Machine Learning Engineer to lead critical initiatives that bring machine learning into the core of their platform to drive clinical insights, financial outcomes, and operational efficiency for veterinary practices.
Requirements
- Familiarity with Snowflake ML, Databricks, or other ML orchestration tools
- 6+ years of experience building and deploying machine learning models in production
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience contributing to production applications
- Hands-on experience with modern ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn)
- Experience designing and maintaining ML pipelines, feature stores, and data workflows
- Familiarity with LLMs and experience integrating them into user-facing applications
- Comfort working with structured and unstructured data, and selecting appropriate modeling techniques (e.g., time series, gradient boosting, survival analysis)

- The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is: $160,000/year - $230,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits.
- For Colorado, the salary range is: $175,000 - $200,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
