Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience in machine learning
- 3+ years of professional experience working on recommendation systems
- Strong understanding of the mathematical foundations of ML algorithms
- Experience building end-to-end ML systems
- 3+ years coding in Python or C++
- Experience leading large-scale multi-engineer projects
Responsibilities
- Improve existing machine learning systems using coding skills and ML knowledge
- Identify new opportunities to apply machine learning across the product
- Collaborate with other ML engineers to implement algorithms and systems efficiently
- Take end-to-end ownership of ML systems including data pipelines, candidate extraction, feature engineering, model training, and production integration

- Availability for meetings and impromptu communication during coordination hours (Mon-Fri: 9am-3pm Pacific Time)
- BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
