Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in machine learning for autonomous vehicles or related domains
- Demonstrated ability to design and deploy behavior or policy models in production settings
- Proficient in Python and frameworks like Pytorch; skilled in data handling with Pandas
- Familiar with distributed computing frameworks such as Ray
- Deep understanding of various ML architectures and their integration into autonomous systems
- Experience with large-scale data pipelines and model deployment in cloud or embedded systems
Responsibilities
- Lead development of reinforcement learning-based behavior models for autonomous trucks
- Define strategies to collect and curate large datasets for model training
- Create scalable training pipelines to efficiently move from prototypes to production
- Establish performance metrics to analyze and improve model behavior
- Collaborate with simulation teams to ensure effective validation of models across various scenarios
- Mentor mid and senior ML engineers and set technical standards for the team
